Dakshina Kannada Temple History

Dakshina Kannada district housed many temples. Dharmasthala, Subrahmanya, Kateel, Puttur, Ullal, are some of the religious centres in the district. Almost all the temples are built in Pagoda style and follow Agama tantra. These centres attract large number of devotees every year. Each temple has its own religious significance and spiritual importance.
